Securian Funds Trust offers a series of Funds (the SFT Funds) which are designed to help variable insurance product owners achieve their investment objectives.
The SFT Funds are managed by Securian Asset Management (Securian AM), an asset management firm established in 1984. Securian AM is a wholly owned subsidiary of Securian Financial Group, Inc.
The Funds are available only as investment options within certain Minnesota Life Insurance Company or Securian Life Insurance Company variable insurance products. Fund shares are not available for direct purchase by the general public.
