Proactive labor and delivery claim payments

Our hospital indemnity insurance proactively pays labor and delivery claims. Once the birthing parent reaches 36 weeks gestation, we pay the hospital indemnity claim for routine labor and delivery. Both the initial and daily benefits will be paid for a three-day stay. Longer stays are eligible for additional benefits.

Medical claims integration, powered by Reclaim

Medical claims integration further streamlines the claims process to deliver an optimal employee experience. It allows employers and employees to opt in to a solution that alerts the employee when a medical event might qualify for a supplemental health payout.

  • Participants experience greater benefit utilization and an easier claims submission experience, providing consent only one time for all future claims

  • Reclaim sets up a secure file transfer protocol with the employer’s medical provider(s) allowing them to receive historical and ongoing claims data to match with the claim-eligible supplemental health coverage 

  • The claims data will be used to substantiate covered benefits, in many cases, eliminating the need for an employee to provide an explanation of benefits (EOB)

  • Prompts customer throughout the experience to successfully engage in the claims process and customer notifications to finalize their claims submission
